My name is Eliza Lieberman and this is my first summer at Jacobs! This summer I will be working as the Talmidim Unit Head. I am from Charlotte, North Carolina and just graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN! I love all things performance- from writing my own songs to being on stage with my improv troupe. I also love adventure and being outside.

My name is Raz and I am from Israel. Back home, I work as a QA Engineer at the First Digital Bank in Tel Aviv. I just finished my army service, I was in the paratroopers. I coming to camp to be and counselor and the robotics specialist. This is my first time at camp, and in the USA at all! I am very excited, and hoping for the best summer ever!

I’m Mason (Mo) Gilbert and I’m from Memphis, TN. I’m 18 years old and am attending Purdue for a genetics major starting this fall. During the year, I’ve played soccer for my high school for two years, and focused on academics for the other two years. I spend a lot of my time talking to friends or playing video games. I’ve been at camp for 10 years now and I hope to play the role of the counselor that all the campers like. I haven’t done any direct volunteer work, but rather I’ve been president of MeFTY for two years now. Through MeFTY, we’ve been able to help other communities as well as our own.

Hi, my name is Dylan Strasser, and I live in Meridian, Mississippi. I like to draw, write, and make music. This year, I will be a general counselor here at Camp Jacobs. While this will be my first year working at camp, I’ve been going to Camp Jacobs for at least three years now. I’m so excited about the summer!

Hi! My name is Devon, and I am from Booneville, Arkansas. My hobbies are playing games, working out, and playing basketball. My role at camp is to have the best time with my campers and make sure they have the best summer ever. I have been at camp for 4 years and loved every second of it! During my free time, I volunteer at the Boys And Girls Club and a local food bank.

Hi! I’m Shai 23 years old from Nesher, Israel. During the summer I work and love to travel. I volunteer a lot, specifically donating blood and being in the scouts. This is my first summer and I am so excited! I will be a counselor, as well as help out a lot with adventure, and I can’t wait to meet the campers!

Hi, y’all! My name is Noah Saperstein and this will be my 8th summer at Jacobs Camp but only my first as a counselor. While I am going to college at Bowdoin in Brunswick, Maine, I have lived all over the world. In fact, I have spent about half my life overseas. Because I have never lived anywhere for very long, Jacobs Camp has become a home to me in so many ways and I can’t wait to help other campers feel that same connection. My hobbies include playing soccer and tennis, solving Rubik’s cubes, and learning yo-yo tricks. I love trying new foods and learning how to play card/board games. I have volunteered as a tutor in the past through my school and as a counselor at a week-long camp before. I can’t wait to meet everyone this summer and make it the best one ever!
