Olivia & Piper’s Camp Tradition
Piper and Olivia continue to rock their matching shirts and hats as they countdown to Summer 2024, which will be the BEST SUMMER EVER!
Summer 2022 was a monumental summer for Olim campers, Piper and Olivia, from Memphis, TN and Birmingham, AL. What happened? They became BEST friends at Jacobs Camp!
Inevitably, Closing Day 2022 arrived and it was time for Piper and Olivia to say goodbye until next summer.
Thankfully, the distance between Memphis and Birmingham via FaceTime and Facebook Messenger is very brief, and Piper and Olivia stayed in touch all year. As they prepared for Summer 2023 when they would see each other again, Piper and Olivia wanted to find a way to visually display their friendship in matching style. What better way than Custom T-Shirts and Hats!
Piper and Olivia Facetimed while they worked together to pick out the colors for the shirts and hats. The light blue shirts say “Camp 2023” and the pink hats have “901” and “205” – their area codes. Even though they are miles apart, their friendship remains strong!
Summer 2023 was the BEST SUMMER EVER for Piper and Olivia and the countdown has already begun for Summer 2024.
“I know the friends Piper’s made from camp are ones that are going to be friends for a lifetime. Piper knew nothing about the Jewish religion before going to Jacobs. We now do Shabbat every Friday and she is becoming more involved in the community. I can’t say enough about this amazing camp!”, says Piper’s Mom, Shelly.
Debbie, Olivia’s Mimi added, “I don’t have enough wonderful things to say about Jacobs Camp. This was Olivia’s 3rd year, and she’s making lifetime friendships. I am so grateful to everyone there for making this the best summer ever!!”
