Home » Israel Update- Personalized Messages for Israeli Staff

Please see the below message sent to our mailing list.

Dear Jacobs Camp Community,

As another Shabbat arrives, our hearts remain in the East with our Jacobs Camp family in Israel. We are praying for shalom. For peace, safety, healing, and the well-being of our communities and our loved ones. We are praying for Israel, for friends, for family, and for an end to violence.

Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to our general message board for our Israeli staff. We know that our families also want to share direct support with the staff members who cared for and loved their children over the past summers. I am so happy to introduce a new way for you to share personalized messages of support directly with individual Israeli staff members through this form

Even if you don’t have a specific staff member in mind, you can also send a more general message of support that we will share. If you are comfortable sharing your email address on the form, please do, in case the staff member would like to reply. However, we do ask our families to understand that a response may be difficult at this time.

Additionally, I’d like to share this list of URJ resources on how you can support Israel.

During these times Nadav and I have never been prouder to be part of such this special Jewish community, which is such a light for the entire Jacobs Camp team.

Please take care, and know we send our love, strength and support.

Shabbat Shalom,

Anna and the Jacobs Camp Team
