Whether Jacobs Camp is a cherished memory, a beloved experience for your children, or an investment in the future of the Jewish faith, you know camper cabins are more than just buildings. For over 30 years they’ve been the home for countless memories – late-night whispers during flashlight time, friendships founded during Cabin Prayers, and rest hours spent writing letters home and playing cards.

It is now urgent to renovate these cherished spaces to ensure their structural integrity and adapt them to meet the needs and expectations of today’s campers. 

What’s Coming

The mission of Jacobs Camp has always been to provide a high-quality Reform Jewish camping experience. One that enriches children’s lives spiritually, intellectually, and physically. 

Our cabins are central to that mission: they’re where campers learn independence, create lifelong friendships, and live Jewish values in community.

The renovations to the camper cabins focus on function and longevity. Here’s what our campers can look forward to:

  • Privacy where it matters. Bathrooms are being reconfigured to give campers more comfort and confidence while still keeping the communal spirit alive.
  • Comfort in every season. Replacing aging HVAC systems will help campers and staff stay safe and cool during Mississippi summers.
  • Durability for decades to come. Updated fixtures and finishes are designed to hold up to the joyful wear-and-tear of generations of campers.
