New Camper Weekend at Jacobs Camp is a fun, one-night introduction to sleepaway camp for current 1st through 6th graders, taking place March 7–8, 2026. In just 24 hours, campers will experience the best of camp life by sleeping in a cabin, enjoying camp food, and trying favorite activities from the Art Room to the sports fields. They’ll share meals in the dining hall, celebrate with an after-dinner dance party, and take part in an exciting evening program, all while feeling welcomed into our warm Jewish community by experienced and caring counselors. It’s the perfect way for your child to try camp and become part of the Jacobs Camp family.
