Atlanta Metro Area

Atlanta-area campers can apply through the Atlanta Jewish Federation. The Federation’s general scholarship application is linked here and the One Happy Camper grant is linked here.

First Time Campers

Nationwide, first-time camper incentive programs are available – many with local funding partners. In most cases, the Incentive may be applied toward any of Jacobs Camp’s 24-day-or-longer sessions (Garin, Maskilim, Talmidim, Chalutzim). If the child was in our Olim program last summer, they ARE eligibile for this program.

Eligibility Requirements: (a) Grants are not based on financial need. (b) Jewish day school students are not eligible. (c) Both parents need not be Jewish. (e) Local eligibility requirements may vary – contact the local program sponsor for details.

Local Funding Sources

In many Jewish communities across the country, camp scholarship programs are available to assist families who wish to send their children to a non-profit Jewish camp like Jacobs.

Local rules & restrictions will apply, so you will need to contact each potential funding source to find out if you meet their eligibility requirements (whatever they may be), and that funds awarded can be used for Jacobs Camp (as some funds are only for specific camps).

Be sure to contact: Your Congregation (Rabbi, Educator, or President); your local Jewish Federation and/or Jewish Family Service organization.
