Jacobs Camp Small Community First Time Incentive

Jacobs Camp (through a grant from the Legacy Heritage Fund) has established an incentive program offering $1,500 for new campers in 3rd - 9th grade from small (less than 10,000 Jews) Jewish communities to attend first session. And the best part – this incentive can be combined with other first time incentive grants!

How does it work? Talk to the staff at Jacobs Camp to see if you're eligible! Anna Herman, the director, and her colleagues are eager to talk to you about the Jacobs Camp experience and if it is a fit for your child. They can be reached at or 601-885-6042.

Local Funding Sources

In many Jewish communities across the country, camp scholarship programs are available to assist families who wish to send their children to a non-profit Jewish camp like Jacobs.

Local rules & restrictions will apply, so you will need to contact each potential funding source to find out if you meet their eligibility requirements (whatever they may be), and that funds awarded can be used for Jacobs Camp (as some funds are only for specific camps).

Be sure to contact: Your Congregation (Rabbi, Educator, or President); your local Jewish Federation and/or Jewish Family Service organization.
