    "At camp you get to do a huge variety of activities with your friends that you can't do when you're at home. When we're here, we can climb the tower, play adventure games, and do a zipline! Those aren't things that I can do at home with my friends, but here, it is just normal.

    Opening Day Session 2 Video!

    We kicked off Session Two yesterday! We’re so excited to finally have our campers home and we hit the ground running! All of our units spent time with their cabins and learned the ways of camp. We can’t wait to see what the rest of this session has in store!

  • More Than Just a Summer Home

    I’ve spent almost my whole life at Henry S. Jacobs Camp, first starting in 2002 as an Olim camper where I had Anna B. Herman as my Olim Unit Head. I went all the way to Chalutzim in 2011. I always knew that I wanted to give back to the community, so in 2014, I applied to be a counselor.

    This summer is my first summer on staff, and I’m a Gesher. I choose to come back every year because I can’t imagine my summers without Jacobs. My siblings are here and we just have this amazing environment to grow, learn, and experience new things together. During song sessions, I like to look around the room and notice that everyone is involved.

    Shabbat Letter from Anna (June 23, 2017)

    Shabbat Shalom! It is so hard to believe that it has been a week since we last dressed in white and celebrated Shabbat together; we are ready to sing and dance together for our second Shabbat here at camp. Time is truly flying by, but the Jacobs Magic is still flowing! I can see friendships forming and memories being made.
