Everyone who enters the iconic gates on Morrison Road are welcomed home upon arrival. Jacobs Camp has been my home for as long as I can remember. As I am welcomed by the year-round team, the lay-leaders of our communities, the parents, and most importantly, our Jacobs campers, I understand the importance of my mission. It is my goal to continue to build on the immense success that Anna, Joshua, Sarah, Nadav, Greg, Tamisa, and all the incredible staff members create every day.

50 years of anything is always cause for a celebration. 50 years of a Jewish summer camp? In Mississippi? Well, let’s just say no one expected us to still be here. A few months ago, we were so thrilled to announce the dates for Jacobs Camp’s 50th reunion in the celebration capital of the world, New Orleans, Louisiana! We tried so hard to plan in advance, to read the tea leaves (and potential football schedules), to ensure our chosen date would not conflict with any major happenings in the Deep South.
